ICOM IC-A5 power supply, audio and PTT

Source for inspiration (wiring, AUDIO/MIC and PTT pinout): http://www.bowersflybaby.com/tech/velcro.html

Power supply has not been described – therefore I created my own.

I used this cheap chinese LM5296, which was installed on the back of the plate. Cost about 2 USD/piece.
Adjusted it to 9.6 volts with 13 volts input (this is what battery output is).

Supply it is very stable and makes no noise. During transmision it consumes 0,7 AMPS @12 Volt (~8,4 watt)

It is fixed by aluminum rivets (3 mm) and lifted up by small 6mm metal tube. Lower part has solderable cooper pad/prototyping board “sandwiched” in between.
Back-plane contacts has been raised with solder material.
Snug fit on top. It will be riveted to the aircraft.
Ready to be installed!
